Cork is relatively new to rescue but he is enjoying the good life with his foster family.  He is currently living with 2 siberian huskies.  He has house manners, and learned the doggie door the first day!  He eats like a champ, has some weight to gain but loves all of his foods!

He walks well on a leash.  He could benefit from some basic obedience, we are working on things with him in foster care.  He sleeps through the night.

Corks coat came to us in pretty rough shape. He was treated for flea dermatitis.  What does that mean?  The fleas were so prevalent that it made Cork very itchy and he has lost some of his hair on his back end and lumbar area.  He is now starting to recover from that condition and has started to regrow some fur.

His beautiful long, silky Irish Setter coat will come back with good nutrition, supplements, grooming and regular baths.  He will make a great cover shot for your Christmas card this year.

Cork could be an only or have a dog pal, but he absolutely prefers the ladies.  Due to his size, he has very long legs, it would be best for Cork to be in a home with children over the age of 10 years.

If you are interested in having a great irishman join your home and make your Irish eyes smile, please ask to meet Corkie
