HI, I’m Zac.  My foster mom says that I’m named after some country music guy that has a brown band. But I came with a yellow band of brothers, so I don’t really know much about that. One of my foster brothers is brown, but I don’t think he’s in a band. Anyway, Foster Mom says a bunch of this Zac guy’s songs fit me.  I guess I took a “Highway 20 ride” and now I’m “free” and meeting lots of new people.  I know I don’t really want the “colder weather” to come because I can’t wait to get my yellow “toes in the water” and my tail in the sand! And I really just want to sink my teeth in to a “little bit of Chicken Fried.”  I’ll bet you I’ve “got whatever it is” that you are looking for in new friend!

I thought I might miss my band of brothers, but I have some new foster brothers and sisters that are really cool.  I felt like a rock star when I showed up, because everyone wanted to say hi at the same time.  It was like getting mobbed by a bunch of fans. I found out I don’t really like to go in my crate, but once I do, I am pretty happy.  I have gotten to go on a couple of walks with my foster brothers.  Oh boy, you just better watch out when you see us coming!

I can’t wait to meet my forever family though, put down some roots, and get a permanent gig. One of my foster brothers said he has been on this same journey, and getting a forever family is even better than I can imagine! I’m really excited about it. But first I’m going to try to learn some stuff that will help me when I get there.  I haven’t had any accidents yet, and am getting the hang of the doggie door.  It’s kinda scary when you are just a little guy and all the other folks are going in and out at high speed!  I have tried out some tennis ball fetching and am pretty good at bringing them back…at least until I get distracted.  I’m having lots of fun, but I’m really just hanging out until I get to meet my forever family.  That’ll be the day!
