Flannigan is a beautiful field-bred Irish setter. These dogs are generally smaller and have shorter coats than the bred-for-show dogs.

He is sweet and eager to please! Flannigan has no interest in shoes or socks, and has not had an accident in the house or his crate in his foster home. He loves to go for walks and would probably like to run! Flannigan gets along well with other dogs and has no interest in being top dog. He enjoys a dog door so he can keep an eye on the local wildlife, and he rarely barks.

When he is outside, every so often he'll make a mad dash into the house for a quick hug. He was nervous about hugs at first but now he loves them!
