Hi - my name is Gunter! I could tell you about my past but really it bores me, you see, I am a SURVIVOR. I look to the future and never look back! But...I guess you need to know the basics. Some people decided it was best if they just left me tied to a bench for way to long. I had to have some surgeries to correct my hips, but I am in great shape now, I just have to take it a bit slower and more cautious than other dogs my age. You would think I would hate people and not get along with others but you would be wrong....I LOVE PEOPLE! I love tall people and short people, I don't care. I just love people. I love to get petted and treated like the gentleman I am. I long to lay at your feet and enjoy time together just hanging out. I don't like cats...I really don't like cats. I am not aggressive at all, in fact, please don't yell at me, I am sensitive and I really would love someone who will baby me just a little. I like other dogs but I would be fine if I was your one and only also. I don't bark much at all or play rough inside and I picked up potty training like a pro! I like the easy life and I hear they have these things called "apartments" that my foster mommy says I would be perfect for. I have so much more life to live and so much more love to give, I want to experience life, after all....I am a survivor!. I would love to meet you and see if you might be my forever family. (TSBR) is to provide for the welfare, shelter and adoption of lost, abandoned, neglected, or homeless dogs and puppies, specifically; The American Kennel Club (AKC) defined sporting group breeds - Retrievers, Setters, Pointers, Spaniels, Vizlas, Weimaraners, and Spinone Italianos; to promote the responsible care of companion animals, to actively promote spaying and neutering as the most humane means of animal control; to support heartworm education and treatment; and to provide training and education to the public related to topics such as: animal welfare, responsible dog ownership and breed information.
